Welcome to Nonprofit Public Relations! In today’s information world, organizations both large and small must have an active communication plan. The private sector has known this for years, using advertising and public relations campaigns to gain customers, improve their bottom lines and boost sales. However, in the nonprofit sector, where the bottom line is harder to measure, the need for good public relations is much harder.

Within this course, this blog will be used to examine public relations from both the private and nonprofit aspects through an analysis of the profession, the process, the publics and the tactics of public relations.
